Tom Kelliher

Tom Kelliher - Managing Director

A Few Fast Facts:
Tom commenced his career as a fitter and a welder for Leibherr, world leaders in the fabrication and welding of tower, gantry and container cranes for the world market. Arriving in Australia in 1972, Tom quickly discovered his forte lay in water and waste water and, for the next 36 years, has built on his knowledge and skills by continually developing his expertise in a constantly changing field. Now the head of a company that current annual turnover is in excess of $12 million. Tom encourages and supports everyone at Eire to continue expanding on their skill base so the company can deliver the best product to our clients on time and on budget.

 
 

Peter Hodson - Project Manager

A Few Fast Facts:
Peter has international pipe work experience having studied his Engineering Construction Pipe Fitting Modern Apprenticeship at Dudley College in the UK. Whilst in England Peter worked for Mitsui Babcocks, a large Japanese company specialising in design, fabrication and fit for pipes. He then gained employment with the massive ICI plant, the largest producer of chlorine and hydrogen in the Northern Hemisphere. Peter gained valuable technical knowledge and safety awareness as a mechanical maintenance fitter maintaining the pipe work, shut down, and repairs of the plant. Peter Hodson joined the Eire in 2005 as a leading hand and was promoted to Site Supervisor in 2007. Peter was promoted to Project Manager in 2010. Peter is also a talented Rugby League player having played for Widness and our own Eire Contractors Pty Ltd sponsored team, the Port Breakers.

 
 

Ian Pascoe - Administration Manager

A Few Fast Facts:
Ian's background has been in the Information Technology (IT) industry working with major Federal Government Departments to provide Outsourced IT services over a 35 year period. Over the past 20 years, Ian has worked in key management roles with major international and Australian IT Companies. These roles have encompassed many facets of administration and management, including Fiscal Management, Project Management and the implementation and review of Quality Management Systems. Ian has experience with tender bid management and contract management and has also had experience in writing and implementing policies and procedures for QA systems. Ian has qualifications in Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Management. He is also a Justice of the Peace in NSW.

 

Harry Jemison - Estimator and Contract Admin

A Few Fast Facts:
Harry came to Eire in 2005 as our Quantity Surveyor. Harry is highly experienced and well respected across NSW and QLD in the construction industry. Harry's work history spans across civil, commercial and cottage industries with firms such as Costains Ltd, Jennings Industries and B+B. Harry has worked at the Blair Athol Coal Mine and on major bridge and tunnel developments, high rise apartments and of course water, sewerage and pipe laying. Harry's impressive work history is balanced with academic and trade qualifications including a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from the UNSW, Louis Allen Management Course, a Building Supervisors License, Formwork and Carpentry Contractors License and a Scaffold ticket. Harry is an associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors

 
Phil Chaplin

Phil Chaplin - OHS/QA/ENV Manager

A Few Fast Facts:
Phil has over 24 years experience in QA coupled with 7 years of experience as an Environmental Officer with Amdel Laboratories as a NATA signatory and 11 years experience in OHS &; Environmental Management with Melba Industries. Phil has also worked as a Workplace Trainer in the finance sector and is certified in Senior First Aid. Phil has many years experience in administering quality management systems certified to ISO/TS 16949 & ISO 9001, environmental management systems certified to ISO 14001, and OHS management systems compliant to AS4801. His qualifications include an Associate Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety from RMIT and a Certificates I & II in Textiles from Gordon TAFE.

 
Eamon Kelliher

Eamon Kelliher - Foreman

A Few Fast Facts:
Eamon has been with Eire Contractors since leaving school and has developed a specialty in pipelines both large and small bore – From UPVC, DICL and large mild steel lines. He has worked as the foreman for several large pipeline projects such as Bayswater, a 4.5 Klm twin 1500mm pipeline and Karangi Water Treatment Plant, 900mm to 1500mm fully welded pipe. He has also recently completed the major part of the installation of 1.5klm of rising main on the Redhead project. This pipeline ran through residential and industrial areas as well as crossing a major intersection and environmentally sensitive areas. Eamon is the driving force behind EIRE pipe teams.

 
Tadhg Kelliher

Tadhg Kelliher – Site Coordinator

A Few Fast Facts:
Tadhg has been with Eire Contractors full time since leaving school and has developed a sound understanding and knowledge of the industry. He has experience in Sintakote, Ductile Iron, PVC, Fibre-Glass, Mild Steel and Reinforced concrete pipeline systems and MIG welding and has supervised the construction of Sewer mains, Rising Sewer mains, Water mains and Sewerage Pump Stations. Tadhg has worked as part of a team in Moree that constructed pipelines to adjacent farms and a pump station. This project involved two HDD bores across the Gwydir River and a Gouldgong Creek. He was engaged in a major project as the Site Coordinator and was responsible for implementing and maintaining Eire’s Integrated Management System, and running the site office. Tadhg was the Site Supervisor on a WWPS project that involved a gravity sewer, a PVC-O Rising Main and the construction of a DN2100 mm slab type pump station, Inline Storage tank and Collection manhole. Tadhg gained knowledge in shoring, suspended concrete slabs, general concreting, form working, working in environmentally sensitive areas and dewatering.
